To be honest, I've long been hesitant to get into ELK slots. Their mechanics are impressive, yet, as you might understand, I wasn't fully convinced.
Today brought news of Brazil altering some casino regulations. It piqued my curiosity about my favorite ELK games, leading to a surprising discovery. I might have missed this before, but considering a maximum win game like 'Dam Beavers' at a 10,000x return, there's a daunting 1 in 17 million chance. I wouldn't recommend investing your time in these games as I did. While they offer entertainment, they're not the best bet for winning.
I'm unable to show screenshots here, but here's how you can find this information: access any of their games.
Go into the configuration menu, navigate to 'Info,' and proceed to the last section.
I recall the 'Pacific Gold' version with an 87% return showed only a 1 in 40 million chance of winning, which is quite alarming!
In games like 'Dam Beavers,' the odds are staggering, potentially offering fewer than ten instances of 2000x wins over 17 million rounds. Aiming for a 1000x win from ELK is my aspiration, which I calculate will take around 200,000 spins or roughly 300 hours.
Could someone assist me in evaluating other ELK games with maximum win potentials ranging from 25,000x to 50,000x, as well as Cygnus 3? I'm quite intrigued about these.
I genuinely enjoy ELK slots, as they offer fantastic mechanics and engaging visuals. Despite playing them for years, my biggest win has been a modest 500x. They do frequently provide smaller boosts of 50-100x, enabling extended play without major losses. I participate largely for the joy of the game, rather than expecting big payouts.
@shijjiki A 1 in 17 million probability isn't the worst, to be honest. Many games have similar, if not higher, odds when you compare them with those of NLC.
@hakan-s its not that bad.. its really bad.
54.000x in Disturbed have a 1:10 million rate
(1:10.000.000)
10.000x in Pirots 3 have a 1:22 million rate.
(1:22.000.000)
8.000x in Nine to 5 have a 1:148 thousand rate
(1:148.000)
10.000x in Retro Tapes have a 1:1,2 million rate
(1:1.200.000)
You must be joking Right?
Its really, really bad.
Yeah it\"s just terrible
Difficulty of win 5000x (No extra bet):
Pragmatic, Gates: 1/697K (Max win)
NLC, Outsourced: 1/185K (Max win)
Print, Win-O-Mart: 1/98K
......
ELK, Slurpy: 1/5.8M (Max win)
When compared to Play'n GO, the winning odds still seem reasonably good.
Oh, folks, achieving maximum wins in ELK isn't straightforward, but here are some games known for easier payouts:
Donny Dough, 666 - Hacksaw
Titles such as Voodoo Magic, Fantastic Freespins, and Ding Dong Christmas from Pragmatic Play.

After considering some statistics, it's evident that we should probably look at games by Nolimit City and try our luck with '9 to 5'. Some of us might eventually hit a maximum win there.
Truthfully, certain game providers like ELK can be challenging for hitting maximum wins unless you're making use of features or super bonus purchases. The same goes for NLC, but when you manage to score, it really pays off. Alternatively, you could go for 'god mode' spins, risking everything. Despite playing over the years, my closest attempt fell short by about 580 spins in 'Magic Piggy' from Hacksaw. If it were that simple, gambling would cease to exist.
Indeed, getting there is tough, yet feasible. For instance, have you checked the latest Cygnus 5 maximum win on Bigwinboard's YouTube channel?
Though I didn't get a 500x win from ELK in 2024, I recently secured a 500x win on Cygnus 5 through a 3x bonus hunt, and even managed a 300x win the same day.
This doesn't indicate that their statistical model has improved (my luckiest result on Stake was merely 2200x). It just highlights an especially fortunate day for me.
Some update:
Here are my projections for ELK games formed through collated data, additional known details, and a bit of speculation.
Win 500x: 1 in 60K90K
Win 1000x: 1 in 160K200K
Win 2000x: 1 in 400K500K
Win 3000x: 1 in 1.3M1.5M
Achieving these feats is around ten times more challenging compared to other developers (like NLC, Hacksaw, BTG, Pragmatic Play, and others).
I've only accomplished one-fourth of my 100,000 spin objective. Once complete (in a few months), I'll prepare a separate post to share my findings.

Congratulations on your long-awaited success, but achieving a 3000x win in 1.3 million spins seems overly demanding. If this were commonplace, no one would still be engaging with ELK.
I truly admire your passion in sharing your experiments and your thrilling journey with the '5 scatter' adventure.
It's been a considerable duration since I last touched an ELK game. They're undoubtedly fun, and if graded purely on entertainment, I'd rate them highly. Despite years of sporadic play, I've never seen wins beyond 200x, which is frankly disappointing. It's hard to comprehend how this remains within legal boundaries.
ELK's games are certainly enjoyable, but they're mainly eye-catching and for some inexplicable reason, capped at 94% Return To Player (RTP). This seems insufficient for a provider creating games with capacities above 25000x.
